On back-to-back tours of Iraq and the Balkans I was haunted by the fact that parts of Sarajevo still looked like areas of Baghdad even though the war in Bosnia had ended over ten years ago. I discovered that war continues to destroy lives long after the last bullets are fired. These are the stories of the women of Bosnia and the aftermath of war. - Jennifer Rawlings
